Lucchesi Travel Terms & Conditions

1. Planning & Service Fees

To provide every trip with the time, research, and personalized attention it deserves, Lucchesi Travel charges the following service fees. These fees cover professional planning, consultation, proposal development, supplier communication, and ongoing support.

  • New Clients:  Your first full vacation booking comes with no service fees.
  • Flights Only (or Flight + Car, No Hotel Stay):  $25 per airline ticket.  Covers flight research, booking, schedule monitoring, and ticket support.
  • Domestic Vacation Packages:  $150 planning fee (non‑refundable).  Covers customized research, itinerary design, and proposal creation.
  • International Vacation Packages:  $300 planning fee (non‑refundable).  Covers extensive research, destination logistics, and personalized itinerary design.

Planning Fees & Proposal Work

Planning fees are due when the trip is researched and a proposal is delivered, regardless of whether the client books through Lucchesi Travel.

This policy is disclosed:

  • in the initial inquiry email, and
  • here within the Terms & Conditions.

Planning fees are not applied toward supplier costs unless explicitly stated.

2. Pricing, Availability & Supplier Changes

Lucchesi Travel will make every effort to honor the price originally quoted. However, suppliers and government authorities may impose additional costs due to increased fees, taxes, surcharges, or changes to travel components.

  • Flight pricing and availability are not guaranteed until full payment has been made and tickets have been issued.
  • Airline fees may change after deposit (seat selection, baggage, fuel surcharges, government taxes).
  • Passport copies are required to confirm international air reservations.
  • Correct full legal names must be provided exactly as they appear on government‑issued ID.
  • Airline tickets cannot be changed to a different passenger once issued.

3. Passport, Visa & Identification Requirements

Travelers are responsible for obtaining and maintaining valid travel documentation.

  • Valid passports are required for all international travel, with at least 6 months of validity past your return date.
  • Some countries require two to four blank pages for entry/exit.
  • Some airlines will deny boarding if documentation requirements are not met.
  • Visas, vaccinations, and any required health documents are the responsibility of the traveler.
  • TSA/DHS recommend carrying two forms of identification when traveling.

4. Deposits, Reservations & Payments

Payment Terms

Payment is due as stated on this invoice. Unless otherwise noted, invoices are due upon receipt. Failure to remit payment by the due date may result in cancellation of services or suspension of ticketing and travel arrangements.

Deposits & Final Payment

Some travel services require a non‑refundable deposit at the time of booking, with the remaining balance due prior to departure. Final payment deadlines vary by supplier and will be communicated at the time of booking.

Late Payments

Payments not received by the due date may be subject to late fees and/or cancellation penalties imposed by travel suppliers. The client is responsible for any additional costs incurred as a result of late payment.

5. Cancellations, Changes, & Refunds

All cancellation and change policies are governed by the supplier (airline, hotel, cruise line, tour operator).

Lucchesi Travel does not determine or control supplier penalties.

  • Traveler-initiated cancellations may incur supplier penalties up to 100% of the trip cost.
  • Refunds, if applicable, are subject to supplier processing timelines.
  • Name changes are not permitted once airline tickets are issued.
  • Any voluntary changes after booking may incur service fees or supplier penalties.

6. Travel Protection (Insurance)

Lucchesi Travel strongly recommends purchasing travel insurance to protect your trip investment.

You may review your policy options or submit an opt‑out waiver here:

Declining insurance means you accept full financial responsibility for unforeseen events including:

  • trip cancellation, interruption, medical emergencies, evacuation, delays, baggage issues, or other losses.

Some policies provide coverage for pre‑existing conditions if purchased within a defined time window after your first trip payment.

7. Limitation of Liability

Lucchesi Travel acts solely as an agent for independent travel suppliers. We do not own, operate, or control the accommodations, transportation, activities, or other services provided.

Therefore, the client agrees that Lucchesi Travel is not responsible for:

  • Loss, accident, injury, delay, or irregularity
  • Acts, errors, or omissions of any supplier
  • Changes to services, schedules, or itineraries
  • Acts of government, weather, illness, strikes, or events outside our control

All travel documents, receipts, and confirmations are issued by suppliers, who bear full responsibility for the services provided.
